The prestigious Italian distributor Lab 80 cinema is going to release Исцелител / Secret Ingredient on Feb 21 in several cities in Italy: Milan, Rome, Bologna, Catania, Turin, Bergamo and many other afterwards.
Each year The California Film Institute offers a selection of films that have been in the Foreign Language Film Oscar competition. This year 87 films have been accepted for competition and, for the 16th consecutive year, the Smith Rafael Film Center offers a choice sampling of 14 of these films.
This is a rare opportunity to view some of the most distinguished works in international cinema, many of which are film festival prizewinners. Series programmed by Janis Plotkin and Karen Davis.

Palm Springs is welcoming over 135,000 attendees each year for its lineup of new and celebrated international features and documentaries. The festival offers 12 days of events and film screenings featuring over 200 films from 78 countries.

Secret Ingredient is part of the festival which tributes the best of Balkan cinema. This is the 50th festival for our film!
Our film was part of the official selection at Mostar film festival at Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Our film was screened at the International Film Festival “Tutti Nello Stesso Piatto” in
Trento, Italy. Immigration, climate change, exploitation of the environment and new slavery, are among the salient issues that the festival covered through the vision of selected films, meeting and debates with directors and photojournalists focused of human dignity in the broadest sense of the term. This is fourth festival for “Secret Ingredient” in Italy.
One year ago today, Secret Ingredient (Исцелител) premiered at Thessaloniki International Film Festival where it received the Audience Award in the Balkan Survey Section.
What followed was a year to remember. The film was shown at 47 international film festivals and won 15 international awards. In addition to that, it won 4 awards during development. HBO Europe released in 14 countries in Europe and the biggest film newspapers, “The Hollywood Reporter”, “Variety” and “Screen Daily” published stellar reviews. Back at home it was shown at 8 festivals where it won 4 lovely awards. It was showing in theaters in Skopje for 87 consecutive days and the total number of viewers throughout Macedonia was over 23.500 in 26 cities. Secret Ingredient is the Macedonian Oscar candidate. What a birthday!

Our film received the Best Debut Film Award at the Tirana Film Festival in the EYE on TIFF – Debut Feature Film Competition!
The jury said: ”The movie comes with a wonderfully crafted script, alongside with convincing acting performances; it succeeds to engage and entertain its audience,dealing with severe subjects in a funny mode. All in all, it is a very promising debut!”
This is 15th award international award for our film!
Our film will be part of LIFFe, International Film Festival of Ljubljana, Slovenia. This is the 29th edition of the festival which had more than 50000 sold tickets last year.
Secret Ingredient will have three screenings during the festival and all of them are sold out days before. Meet our director there on 15th of November!
Our film will be part of 2018 edition of the ENFF which is going to be held from 7 – 11 November at the “Filmhuis Den Haag”. The film program includes feature films, documentaries, short films and animations; most of the selected films are Dutch premieres.
